Whether you’re new to our school or a longtime Northshore Elementary School family, we want to provide the resources you need to achieve success.

K Round-up

Enrollment

Northshore Elementary School serves students in Pre-K, K,1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.

Enrollment for students who are new to the district must be completed in person by a parent or legal guardian.

New Playground

Daily Schedule

At Northshore Elementary, the school day begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m. on regular school days.

Student arrival begins at 7:10 AM, and announcements begin at 7:40 AM. Students arriving after 7:45 AM will need to report to the school office. 

Students must attend for at least 3.5 hours to be counted present for the day.

After School Care

YMCA is Northshore Elementary's only on-site after-care provider, but several other organizations offer pickup and transportation to off-site programs.

Cross Country

Extracurricular Activities

Learning doesn't stop when the school day ends. Northshore offers a variety of after-school and extracurricular activities—including cross country, track and field, Bright Knights Club, News Crew, Safety Patrol, Kindness Club, Student Council, and Musical Club—that give students the chance to build new skills, connect with peers, and explore personal interests.

The entire staff of Northshore Elementary is committed to creating an atmosphere in which all children feel safe, secure, and happy, enabling them to maximize their opportunities to learn and achieve. The school has trained counselors.

Library

Library / Media Center

Our library is a hub for student learning, reading, and discovery. In addition to the school library, teachers may maintain individual collections of age-appropriate books in their classrooms to support literacy and foster a love of reading.

Support Organization

Northshore Elementary is supported by a strong Parent and Teacher Organization (PTO), a group dedicated to raising funds to strengthen our school's academics and facilities.
